Those pictures are from the new owner who hopefully likes her new quilt very much.

I backed it with a simple fleece blanket and quilted waves across both layers. Really like the look and feel because this quilt is not as heavy as it would be with three layers. I needed the whole jelly roll for it and was quite happy when I didn't have any remnants at all!
The pattern is a simple string block design but because it is so huge I didn't bother with paper piecing and just joined the jelly roll strips.

ReplyDeleteDas Muster - und der Stoff, den habe ich als Charm pack vernäht - kommt mir bekannt vor! Ich habe auch nicht über Papier genäht, so ging es viel schneller.
