I agree with Jewell to go to Leah Day's website and blog. She has a lot of videos. And the Supreme Slider and the Machingers gloves really do help. I think this is a difficult skill. It does take practice but I discovered that quilting with the supreme slider makes a huge difference. If you look at Leah Day's blog http://www.freemotionquilting.blogspot.com/ all of the videos she did before about a month ago were done on an industrial machine. Watch her videos kind of get an idea of how it goes it might help.
